Tervetuloa FoxHammerin kotisivuille. Saimme Kasvattaja nimen 4/2010
ja tarkoituksena on pienimuotoisesti kasvattaa terveitä, rodun omaisia
työkoiria. Kasvattamamme russelit ovat Working Jack
tyyppiä, ja koiramme ovat Jack Russell Terrier Club Of Great
Britain- SF yhdistykseen rekisteröityjä (JRTCGB-SF). Emme siis kuulu Suomen
Kennelliittoon.

Russelin terrieri on hyvin valpas ja energinen koira, josta ei ole
sohvaperunaksi. Se tarvitsee paljon virikkeitä ja liikuntaa. NE ovat välillä
hyvin omapäisiä ja tarvitsevatkin sen vuoksi kunnon peruskoulutuksen, ettei tule
johtajuus ongelmia. Mutta, kun on koulutus kohillaan niin koirasi rakastaa ja
näyttää sen sinulle sitten kunnolla. Jos kerran otat
russelin, niin elämässäsi pysyy aina russeli..

Mitä voi harrastaa russelin kanssa? Meillä on metsästys suurimpana
harrastuksena, joka on myös työtä koirille. Siihen ne ovat jalostettu ja se
niitä kiinnostaa. Hyviä harrastuksia ovat myös verijälki (MEJÄ), viehejuoksu ja
noutaminen.

Jack Russell Terrier is a very energetic dog, which is not
just lying around on the couch. They needs a lot of stimulation and physical exercise. They are between the very willful, and therefore they need a good basic education, then should not come problems with leadership. Some dogs test every day their owner, but when the basic training is done and the dog understands who is boss so should not be a problems. Once you own the Russell, so your life will always be a russell.

What you can do with Russell?
The biggest hobby what we have, is hunting with the dogs. We breed our dogs to do it and they love to work. Good hobbys to dog have also blood tracking and retrieving.
